At Nuro Chiropractic, that means before your first visit we’ll walk you through what a typical plan of care costs, so the $49.95 new patient offer and anything that follows never comes as a surprise.

This right comes from the No Surprises Act, and it applies to anyone who is uninsured or who chooses not to use their insurance for a visit. Here’s what it guarantees you:

• A written estimate covering the total expected cost of any non-emergency care, including exams, x-rays when clinically necessary, and any related items or services.
• Your estimate at least one business day before your visit. You can also request one any time before scheduling, even if you’re just comparing providers.
• The right to dispute your bill if the final charge comes in at least $400 higher than what you were quoted.
• A copy of your estimate that you should keep for your records, in case you ever need to reference or dispute it.

In practice, most of our patients never need to invoke any of this, because we’d rather explain costs up front than have you find out at checkout.
